Overview

RouteLogic's enterprise depth had become its drag. Fleet dispatchers like Marcus were exporting to spreadsheets and Samsara, then returning only to update records. Velocity strips the compliance bottleneck and lets dispatchers ship routes in seconds — without losing the reporting Ops Managers depend on.

01

The Problem

Manual compliance checks were costing 14.6 minutes per route; only 48% of coordinators completed the workflow without leaving the app. Trust in the platform was eroding even where its data accuracy was best in class.

02

The Approach

I separated the moment of friction (compliance) from the system of record (reporting), wrote a tightly scoped PRD with hard-fail safety rails, and designed a 4-week pilot with a clear ship / iterate / kill rubric so leadership could decide on evidence, not opinion.

03

The Outcome

A one-click compliance checklist, automatic audit logging, an experimentation plan with a +10% MDE, and a multi-channel GTM scoped to three pilot accounts. Engineering knew exactly what to build; CS knew exactly how to land it.
